I think i believe the second one the most. I believe this one the most because i just dont think lee Harvey Oswald could or would do this alone. I actually believe more along the line that both Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby killed JFK

Wounded

i kind of wish that we could read more i find this very interesting and i think its really cool that we got the change to read these! and i think that getting hit in the ear and the leg would hurt a lot. going more thought the entires hes really detailed.

Anzio

wow sounds like he went though A LOT of stuff during the course of when this took place. i think his entries became less frequent because he was going though so much stuff that he really did have time to or possibly forgot about it sometimes because he has a lot of focus on. i thought that this was really interesting to read! i have a better understaninding of what they had to go though.

On to Europe

may 19th one i thought was kinda sad because its his birthday and all. i thought April was kinda cool how he got to go through rifle training. I don't think I would wanna craw through mud. June 25 was kind of gross, and sounds terrible. wow i thought a lot of what he said was really cool and interesting. He went though a lot and it was really interesting to read. some of it was really sad like how he missed Betty's birthday and such things like that.

The Story of Larry Bennett

haha i love how he mentions he bought his first car. Then he just talks about random stuff and his life seems pretty normal. in march he recives his army papers. and he also talked a lot about his girlfiend and college. its pretty normal.

For our World War II Battle Project we did the battle of Anzio. The Battle of Anzio is more of a campaign then a battle. The combatants of this “Battle” were the Germans and the United States. A lot of things happened during this battle. Many things were destroyed in a little amount of time. This battle took place over a time period of only five months. During the Anzio campaign, the Allied, also known as the United States, forces killed around 7,000 and about 36,000 ended up wounded or missing or possibly both. The Germans killed around 5,000, and about 30,500 were wounded or missing, and around 4,500 were captured. The generals of this battle or campaign were: General Harold Alexander, General Mark Clark, Major General John P. Lucas, and Major General Lucian Truscott. They attacked 5 cruisers, 24 destroyers, 238 landing crafts. They also attacked more than 62 other ships and over 5,000 vehicles. During the battle of Anzio, 10 allied divisions fought against 26 German divisions so they were outnumbered. The Allied forces broke out to the South, joining with the Northward advancing forces of 5th Army and the North, seizing Rome. In the end the Allies won the battle of Anzio.

AH2 Winston Churchill

I thought that winston Churchill's speech says a lot about his thoughts and he really puts forth what he believes. He gets out all the main points that he wants. "I have, myself, full confidence that if all do their duty, if nothing is neglected, and if the best arrangements are made, as they are being made,we shall prove ourselves once again able to defend our Island home, to ride out the storm of war, and to outlive the menace of tyranny, if necessary for years, if necessary alone." right here is when hes trying to relate everything together I guess. Overall Winston Churchill gives a very good speech.

the rise of industry

in the second pic the standard oil co. over powered alot of small companies. in this picture it shows how the oil company contronls everything. And how much we depends on oil.

Final Blog

i thinked the the Roaring Twenties was my favorite lession. My least favorite was world war I because it seemed like we didnt do that much with it. i cannot think of any projects that we haven't done.

USS Indianapolis

The guest speaker from the USS Indianapolis went through a lot when the ship sank. He had to deal with a lot of stuff when he was in the water. He delt with the heat of the sun, and due to the sun people from the ship were getting sun burned, getting blisters and much more. Since they were in the middle of the ocean they suffered from dehidration and sharks. The sharks were a huge problem during the 5 days he was stranded in the middle of the ocean, they attacked a lot of people. Another problem was when the ship sank there was oil everywhere. My overall reaction was that he had to go through a lot and he got nothing back from it and i don't think he wanted anything back.
